Dr. Stephanie Buchert serves as a Professor in the Psychology Department at Longwood University. Her areas of research interest include metacognition, attentional processes, cognitive development, language development, and pedagogy.
Dr. Buchert holds a PhD and a Master's degree in Experimental Cognitive Psychology from Kent State University of Ohio, and Bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Anthropology from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania.
In her spare time, Dr. Buchert enjoys spending time with her dog and two cats (Noli, Poppy, and Petey), family, and friends. She enjoys shopping, working on her home, and anticipating when Def Leppard will be touring nearby.
