Camilla Mahan received a BS in Biology and a MS in Environmental Science Curriculum and Instruction from Longwood College. She received a Ph.D. in Instructional Leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Education. Dr. Mahan has 32 years of teaching experience ranging from grade 6 to university.  She is a volunteer for the 4-H and works in local assisted-living facilities with her therapy dog, Mac. She is a life-time resident of Cumberland County and lives on the family farm with many horses, dogs, cats, chickens, pigeons, and a miniature donkey.
