Dr. McGee's interests include children's mystery and detective fiction, series fiction, adolescent horror, film, and all sorts of contemporary American children's and young adult literature. 

He teaches:
CTZN 110: Social Issues in Film
ENGL 356: Art of Film 1
ENGL 357: Art of Film 2
ENGL 380: Children's Literature 
ENGL 381: Young Adult Literature 
ENGL 445: Studies in Young Adult Literature (topics include Harry Potter and Lemony Snicket)

In addition to his teaching and research, Dr. McGee is the Assistant Director of Longwood's Liberal Studies program.
