Members of the Gold Society—those alumni who have celebrated their 50th class reunion—are invited to attend Longwood’s second annual Joan of Arc Celebration Sept. 28-29. Following the success of last year’s event, this year’s reunion will focus on the classes of 1963, 1958, 1953 and 1948, though every class from 1967 and before is invited to attend.

The weekend’s festivities include family-style dining in Blackwell, tea and check-in at the historic Farmville Train Station, and singing with current students in the Rotunda before dinner with Joan of Arc in sight. It is a weekend to reconnect with classmates and make new memories that will last for years to come.

Meeting President Taylor Reveley IV, reuniting with classmates, dining in Blackwell Hall and reminiscing about life at Longwood over wine and cheese were just some of the highlights of the first Joan of Arc Celebration.

If you would like to help form your class’s committee, call the alumni office at 434-395-2044 or email [email protected]. Registration will open this summer. Keep an eye on longwood.edu/alumni for additional details in the coming months.
